20 Amazing Sunsets at UNESCO World Heritage Sites

As a lover of history, UNESCO World Heritage Sites hold a very special place in my heart. These are literally the most impressive historic locations on earth, give or take a few that haven’t made the list yet. I wanted to share some of these impressive sites with you, but wanted to do it a little different, so I decided to pair two of my favorite views together: UNESCO sites and sunsets. There’s just something magical about the lights that play across the sky at sunset and when paired with beautiful ruins and exceptional scenery, the results are stunning. Here you’ll find some of my favorite shots of 20 different UNESCO World Heritage Sites at sunset. Please enjoy.
